ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: Two grape varieties ‘Jingya’, and ‘Kyoho’ and their corresponding early-ripening bud sports ‘Luopuzaosheng’, ‘Fengzao’ were analyzed using inter-primer binding site (iPBS) markers in order to explore their genomic dierences between early-ripening bud sports and their parents. With primer 2395 of iPBS, a dierential fragment about 500 bp was amplified and further cloned to be sequenced. The percentage of sequences homology between ‘Jingya’, ‘Kyoho’ and their early-ripening bud sports ‘Luopuzaosheng’, ‘Fengzao’ ranged from 29.8% to 99.9% and the cluster analysis divided the sequences into seven groups. Group I and Group II covered 26.7% of the total. In addition, their amino acid sequences showed many termination codon mutations and frameshift mutations. The results provide a direction on the genomic dierence of early-ripening varieties.
