ABSTRACT: One new natural product was isolated from the roots of Raphanus sativus L. by successive chromatographic procedures, such as open silica gel, Sephadex LH-20 and open RP-18 column chromatograph. The structure of the isolated compound was elucidated as Cis-(1-methylazetidin-2-yl)methanol on the basis of spectral data analysis. The new natural product would be potential candidates for early anti-migraine drug study.
