ABSTRACT

This chapter describes the Laser scanning method to measure the diameter in order to realize the high accuracy of the filter rod line circle. It analyzes the off-line measurement data of 87 groups of samples of filter rod, which was chosen randomly. According to the off-line measurement data, adjust the diameter motor left-right rotate artificially, and reduce or increase the height of Cooling bar to increase or decrease the circumference. The laser sensor used in diameter measurement can be divided into laser scanning caliper sensor, Charge-Coupled Device caliper sensor and laser diffraction caliper sensor. The chapter argues that a group or two groups of diameter values that are gained a great chance and has a big difference between the standard value and the measured value. It discusses a planar four-axis laser measuring diameter instrument on the basis of the theoretical and experimental research.
