ABSTRACT

The multilayer laminated damper is a kind of elastic support and vibration absorber for rotor systems used in light-type gas turbine. The provided method, which uses the transfer coefficient method to compute critical speeds relevant to every scattered stiffness point in the preset stiffness domain, tends to verify the critical speeds of a rotor through analyzing the sensitivity of critical speeds changing with support stiffness. Engineers have to face the predicament that they tend to use the uncertain stiffness value from experience or assessment to compute critical speeds and dynamic responses of the rotor system. According to the requirement of transfer coefficient method, we divide the simplified rotor into some stations and compute correlative physical parameter's value for latter procedure. The sensitivity method could estimate the critical speeds for rotors with multilayer laminated damper effectively. The results are reference for rotor design, test and diagnosis.
