ABSTRACT

This chapter provides the measurement methods for stator winding resistance and inductance of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM), specifically, by inputting suitable Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation wave on the stator winding to calculate the inductance and employing appropriate Pulse-Width Modulation waves to evaluate the stator winding resistance. The rotor must be rotated to position which is a lot of inconvenience in some situations of engineering application, such as in the condition to drive the elevator, in which the PMSM needs to trice elevator hoist when rotating the rotor to the specified position. The circuit of A/D relatedrelated to inductance of PMSM is to the voltage and sampling the voltage andtocurrent. The channel A is the equivalent voltage after ia suffered voltage bias circuit.
