ABSTRACT

This chapter describes the restoration of the quality of noise periodic and frequency-modulated signals under condition of preservation of the waveform of an original signal. It considers some issues of adaptation of the weighted order statistics (WOS) filters for processing the periodic signals. However, the analytical estimation of the behavior of the WOS filters is complicated enough because of their nonlinearity, what allows to consider the WOS filter response as a casual event. For solving the corresponding task, a set of the WOS filters is attracted under condition of work frequencies variation of the CoPh WOS filters. The numerical method of solving mathematical tasks with attracting modeling the casual events, or statistical trials, for selecting the most effective project of the WOS filter is of interest. The corresponding algorithm of filtering the FM signals in the conditions of statistical trials of the WOS filters projects was developed, and the procedure of creating the filters bank is presented.
