ABSTRACT

As gas explosion has been a serious threat to a coal mine, safety, production of coal mine becomes the focus of China’s energy industry. In addition, as the span of gas concentration in high gassy mine, eectively monitoring is needed in the process of recovery and utilization. Therefore, full range for mine’s methane gas detection technology has great significance to ensure safety production in the coal industry, reduction of accidents, loss of life and property, energy utilization and environmental protection. Enterprises and research institutions domestic and abroad adopt dierent methods and principles to develop a variety of gas monitored products. Currently, coal mine gas alarm device has a low measurement accuracy and poor stability, and it cannot be used to simultaneously measure the full scale methane gas by using single-sensitive component. For existing problems of methane detection, the method of the thermal conduction gas sensor based on constant temperature is presented in this article. The aim is to achieve the full range for mine’s methane gas detection through using a single-sensitive component.
