ABSTRACT

Communication principle (CP) course is an important professional basic course for the students majored in communication engineering. How well does the students’ mastery this course will directly influence the following course that they are going to learn in the future. The communication principle course includes two parts of theory and practice, in which experiment curriculum has played an important role in developing student practical, application and integration abilities. Traditional experiment teaching of CP is confined by space and time. The virtual experiment teaching system (VETS) based on LabVIEW has broken through these limitations, and the students can do experiments expediently with the VETS. That can help students to complete verification, applicability and comprehensive engineering experiment, and it can also help students to build an integrity knowledge hierarchy of CP. At the same time, comprehensive abilities of students will be improved.
