ABSTRACT

The irregular of network test instrument brings potential dangers when distributed automatic test system (Burch J. 2008) is being built.The lack of standardization in instrument hardware and software design has an effect on instrument ‘s network identification and program control; the confusion in the design of instrument network functions will hinder the effective communication and interaction among instruments, the nonstandard of the instrument network communication protocol will make it difficult to achieve accurate and real-time data transmission between the instrument and the remote test. If the instrument data formats are not unified, there is also a problem in realizing deeply information sharing between the instrument and data fusion. The nonsynchronization among test instruments will make system test data meaningless.
