ABSTRACT
From the development of the positive and negative electrode materials of view, at present what restrict the lithium ion battery energy density ascension are the cathode materials. Therefore, the research and development of new cathode materials system replace the current widely used LiCoO2 cathode materials, introduce higher energy, cheaper prices. A new generation of lithium ion battery is safe and reliable, and has the important application value and practical significance. LiFePO4 is expected to become one of the new generation of lithium ion battery cathode materials. It will be extended to the electric vehicle, the material of choice for a large industrial battery in the field of pumped storage power station, military weapons such as high capacity and high power.
