ABSTRACT

This article through the casting spiral flow performance experiments of the multi-alloy β-phase solidification high-NbTiAl alloy to observe the macroscopic tissue of melt in overall flow path, derive the flow cessation mechanism of alloy, and establish the flow cessation mechanism of TiAl based alloys. It has important significance to improve the filling capacity and the formed member’s surface quality of high-Ti based alloy melt.
