ABSTRACT
Results of research concerning traction and energy characteristics of power circuits of nocontact mining electric transport in term of its use in control circuits of electric locomotive traction drive of AC current thyristor converters with short-circulating effect are represented. Recommendations to select efficient alternative of converter in control circuits are given.
