ABSTRACT

The article presents a new principle of the insulation resistance control device operation of high-voltage grids of mining enterprises under operating voltage, which is based on the superimposition of bi-frequency operational sinusoidal signals of nonindustrial frequency on the distribution grid, which can significantly increase the sensitivity of these devices and make them almost independent of the total ground capacity of the grid. Development of these protection devises operating principles allow significantly increase grids’ reliability and electrical safety.
