ABSTRACT
The article presents the study of natural convection impact on biogas production. Hydrodynamic and heat transfer processes were studied as a part of anaerobic digestion process by way of numerical experiments. A possible error in biogas yield calculations was estimated on the basis of a more simplified approach compared with conventional mathematical modeling. Potential increase in biogas production due to natural convection was also the object of investigation.
