ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: In the overall landscape of risk management in China, enterprise legal risk management can be singled out as a prominent development in the recent years. This development reflects the dramatic changes to the domestic environment within which the Chinese companies operate and the progress the Chinese companies made when they interacted more closely with international partners. In this article we analyze the concepts, tools and the relative standards about legal risk management. We also look at the legal risk management in Chinese companies by studying a concrete case of implementation of legal risk management system in a large State Owned Enterprise. While doing that, we highlight some of the general features of legal risk management implementation of the Chinese market.
