ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: Because of the incomplete agricultural drought early warning system, drought disaster prevention and mitigation has often been in a passive state. Based on the studies of agricultural drought early warning, this paper put forward the principle and composition of the agricultural drought disaster risk warning system, preliminarily established an integrated agricultural drought disaster risk warning system structure which contained early identification of agricultural drought, assessment of crop drought disaster risk, evaluation of potential yield losses rate and estimation of irrigation water requirement for crop. It can get rid of blindness in disaster mitigation measures and provide a more reliable decisions basis for government and farm managers.
