ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: In chaos theory, the butterfly effect means that a small change in one state of deterministic nonlinear system can result in large differences in a later state, which is sensitive dependence on initial conditions. Medical profession facing great responsibility and high risks, can easily account to “butterfly effect”. With maintaining medical safety and promoting medical quality, the strategies can effectively avoid and reduce medical risks in the hospital through the following measures: utilizing risk management; establishing sound and standard medical management system, pre-arranging relevant planning; performing efficiently on-going education, promoting the awareness of risk for medical workers; building up the Checklist Management and reducing non-technical risks.
