ABSTRACT
In recent years, with the increasing of heavy rains and blizzard weather, and the continuous low-temperature freezing weather, electric steel tower fall down and other serious accidents happen frequently. The most of transmission line is located on wild that are complicated in topography and geomorphology, geological conditions, so the debris flows, landslides, and other disasters always pose a threat to the stability of the foundation of tower. In 2009, Chen Haibo and others carried out a monitoring to the slope of electric steel tower and the deformation of tower foundation in the goaf. The results show that the coal mine goafs can easily cause displacement of tower foundation.
