ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: The behavior of Suspension Bridges without stiffness girder under action of a moving load is analyzed theoretically and with experimentation. The traditional assumption of the inextensibility of the suspension cable is replaced by the Equality of the Areas, explaining what really happens with this formulation.
