ABSTRACT

With the continuous expansion of the scale of the power grid, the interaction between the various factors of the power grid becomes more and more obvious and the possibility of large area blackout caused by cascading failure is becoming bigger and bigger [1]. In recent years, large area blackouts that occurred worldwide had caused bad social eects and great economic loss[2,3]. After blackouts happen on interconnected power grids, the systems will rely on generator units, called “startup power,” which have a self-starting ability to recover. So, according to certain strategies, power systems can be partitioned into several subsystems to implement parallel recovery. This is significant for accelerating the processes of a system’s recovery.
