ABSTRACT
With the rapid growth of China’s national economy and the upgrading of smart grid technology, China’s electric power industry has been substantially upgraded. The rapid development of the electric power industry, however, is also accompanied by a series of concerns including grid safety, grid pollution and energy quality. The most important issue is, of course, grid safety, which is subdivided into grid safety, transmission grid safety and distribution grid safety. Grid safety is decided by many factors including internal and external factors. The former involve management and equipment while the latter involve safety in connection with natural disasters. Our study is focused on transmission grid safety and ways to improve the economy of the power grid by solving its safety problems and to further reduce the operating cost of the power grid by solving the safety problems of the transmission grid.
