OCA2 may be the most common albinism in African (1/3900) and African-American populations (1/10,000); by contrast, in Europe, there is an estimated prevalence of 1/36,000.

• Some amount of pigment is present at birth. • Minimal to moderate pigmentation of the hair,
skin, and eyes from northern Caucasian to Mediterranean populations.
