CNSs looking aer children or adults with CF have a variety of additional responsibilities, not only to patients and their families but also to other sta involved in the care of those patients acting in a coordinating and liaising role between colleagues.4 Specialist CF centers and patient groups have diering requirements; therefore, the CNS role varies not only between countries but also between centers within countries. It is inevitable, therefore, that the CNS role will develop to meet the needs of the local CF population.3
