ABSTRACT
At present, our country is facing a severe situation in exportation and its problems are mainly manifested in fields below. The trading friction is becoming more and more normal on a macro level and it’s harder to exploit the overseas market. On a microcosmic level, the cutthroat competition between foreign trade enterprises is becoming more and more intense, leading to a lower commodity price in export. In the meantime, with the deepening reform of exchange rate of RMB, the risk of exchange rate is increasing. Not considering the enterprises themselves, and overlooking the trade protectionism in the international market, the quality of people working in the foreign trade industry cannot meet the changes and demands of the current international trade environment, which is the main reason of this issue. This article is to analyze the types of talents required in the foreign trade industry and discuss the deficiencies of people working in the foreign trade industry. Furthermore we will come up with some solutions to the improvement of the teaching methods in this major in colleges.
