ABSTRACT

Focusing on the structure of tourism industry, tourism informatization takes initiative in making use of information technology to integrate various tourism information resources and transform them into productive forces supporting the development of tourism industry as well as the booster driving the improvement of development and management level of tourism industry. The tourism informatization helps realizing effective management of tourism resources and e-business, better serves tourism planning and decisionmaking through finding out the information deep in the tourists’ behavior. Furthermore, it plays a crucial role in the management of domestic tourism industry, cultivation of tourism market, promotion of information communication between tourism destinations and related enterprises and potential tourism consumers, rendering of an effective and convenient exchange environment in favor of tourism transaction, creation of innovative operation model in tourism industry as well as boosting the development of tourism industry.
