ABSTRACT
Look from the pronunciation language system, English rely on the intonation to distinguish the meaning of the words, that is intonation language. Chinese word meaning is distinguished depending on the difference between the tones, that is tone language. These two languages vary considerably in the number and combinations of phonemes.
