ABSTRACT

Printing companies are in need of setting standard criteria on printing knowledge management in order to support researches in various fields related to printing. At present, the research on printing knowledge management mainly focuses on building the framework of knowledge management system, which cannot provide a practical solution for printing companies to manage and share knowledge together [1]. That is to say, no comprehensive and systematic methods on printing knowledge management were proposed up to now. Since printing has been a highly knowledge-intensive field, most researches such as printing materials, printing and packaging machinery, printed media design, are difficult to reach an agreement on classification and expression of concepts.
