ABSTRACT
The proposed routing protocol follows hierarchical clustering architecture, where we are focusing on intra-cluster communication to gain energy efficiency. In addition to cluster head (CH) [11] or general cluster head (GCH), we introduce subordinate cluster head (SCH) for efficient and optimized cluster management. We propose a dominating set based SCH selection method to find out the subordinate nodes and their members to announce local administrations inside a cluster. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first proposal, which introduces local administrations using dominating set for intra cluster communication including near field communication (NFC) [12].
