ABSTRACT

We assume that target has the constant spinning angular velocity and the translational motion has been fully removed by current motion compensation completely during the coherent processing interval (CPI) [2]. The target spins in high speed. During the CPI, target often spins several cycles. The rotational angle of target relative to the radar usually is only a few degrees, so its effects can be ignored. Figure 1 is the motion model of space high-speed target which is built in the Cartesian coordinate system XOY.We take

O as the rotational center of target and take the direction of radar sight line as Y axis. Assuming that the rotational angular velocity of target is ω s, we estimate it by autocorrelation method in actual situation [1, 3].
