ABSTRACT

Seismic signals may be originated from natural earthquake events or non-natural earthquake events. Natural earthquakes are commonly tectonic earthquakes, and often occur in the depths of more than 10km underground[1], generally the depths of granite layers or basalt layers[2]. Non-natural earthquake events include chemical blasts or nuclear detonations, and also mine collapses, factory mechanical shakings and plane clashes etc. If seismic wave signals are appropriately processed or properly transformed, explosion events can be eectively distinguished from earthquake events with high probability [3].
