ABSTRACT

The viscoelastic behaviour of MREs is modified due to the embedded particles during the vulcanization process (Lu et al. 2012). That is why the interaction between the particle and the matrix has to be modelled. Guth (1945) developed a model

1 INTRODUCTION

MREs are viscoelastic materials which consist of an elastomeric matrix and filler particles that interact with an external magnetic field. These viscoelastic materials are modelled using different constitutive models, as classical differential models and fractional derivative models.
