ABSTRACT

In our experiments, filled rubbers consisting of the same components, but produced at different mixing time, 160 and 330 sec, were used to evaluate the homogeneity of the filler distribution in the material. The materials were prepared under laboratory conditions with a Brabender mixer. Carbon black P234 was taken as a filler in the amount 65 mass shares per 100 mass shares of rubber SKS ARKM-15. Bruker’s Dimension Icon Atomic Force Microscope System was used to conduct experiments in a Tapping mode. Scan Analyst-air probe with a curvature radius of 2 nm was employed. The samples were sectioned on a LeicaEMUC7 at −140°C.
