ABSTRACT
Experimental investigations were carried out using acrylonitrile butadiene copolymer (acrylonitrile content is 35%, N230S, JSR) filled with different amounts of Carbon Black (CB). The CB contents were varied from 10 phr to 50 phr. Sheets were hot pressed and cross-linked using a sulfur vulcanizing system at 145 °C for 30 minutes. Sample dimensions were (x × y × z) 180 × 20 × 1 mm, where x was the crack growth direction, y was the loading direction and z was the sample thickness direction.
