ABSTRACT

For physiological monitors, the parasympathetic activity is significantly different in different DOS (Unoki et al., 2009; Lan et al., 2012). The information of BP, Heart Rate (HR), sweat, and tear formation is used to assess responsiveness, so this information is usually used as a standard measure of autonomic reactions in clinical practice (Guignard, 2006). Moreover, HR variability is successfully used to mode the DOS. Thus, direct measurement of BP, respiratory parameters, temperature, SpO2, and other vital signs are feasible to improve the accuracy.
