ABSTRACT

Montage is a transliterated word from French. Originally, the word was an architectural term meaning structure, assembly and combination. It indicates artificially splicing, assembling and editing time and space elements in the art of film editing. Narrowly, it refers to the connection and combination of various elements such as scenes, angles, movements, lens spaces, images and sounds; broadly, it means a method of creation to manifest the artist’s artistic thinking during the process from the beginning to the end of filmmaking.
