1 INTRODUCTION

The preceding research included observation in the technology art performing site. We found that in the relationship between the scene on the stage, the dancer and the costume, the dancer changed his/her costume in the back stage so as to change his/her performing character. Thus how does the dancer change his/her character? He/she must find the interactive performing rules between real-self (the dancer) and the performing character (other person). According to Lacan’s Mirror Stage theory (1936), we found that people consider the image of themselves in the mirror and the image of other people as they were in their childhood (6-18 months). It is the same as when we grow up. How we will identify who we are is often dependent on where you have been (Tasu Saiau-Yue, 2012). Therefore, exploring how to deal with the psychological level of modern people is the concept of the Changer; on the other hand, changing clothes is normally considered as a change of character for an audience. Following the observation of other performances, most theatrical dancers don’t have enough time to change clothes, however, the stage background can transform more rapidly than dancers can change.
