ABSTRACT
In early stages, CATV industry used copperbased coaxial cable to connect amplifiers serially reached the user ends [1]. In the very beginning, focus had been concentrated on telecommunication. Due to highly demand on network usage and the advancement of corresponding technologies, fiber optic applications are extended to CATV networks [2]. The trend is using the so-called Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial Cable (HFC) in the popular, worldwide CATV network. CATV industry developed the Data Over Cable Service Interface Specifications (DOCSIS) technique for the extremely high demand of network services. Duplex transmission function is applicable by using cable modem for front-end users [3].
