ABSTRACT
Taiwan is an island country located in subtropical zone. Under the governmental policy in recent years, attention has been gradually attached to water safety education and swimming-related courses. It is hoped that, through school education, students’ familiarity with water and various correct concepts about water can be cultivated since their childhood, and their ability to rescue themselves when engaging in water sports can also be developed. Therefore, swimming teaching is important in physical education course in school.
