ABSTRACT

In this section, Figure 1 describes this proposed research model. The dependent variable, the willingness to help SMC, refers to users’ willingness to help SMC (Ren et al., 2012). This study, following Goel et al. (2011), and Ren et al. (2012), contends that social capital and cognitive absorption is the key determinants of user’s willingness to help SMC. Aside from this, base on social capital theory and cognitive absorption theory and suppose that social capital will exert influence on user’s cognitive absorption mainly. Finally, the remainder of the section defines the constructs and developing the hypotheses presented in the proposed model.
