ABSTRACT

Taiwan’s local governments actively promote “one village, one characteristic,” township enterprises like a regional body, highlighting the characteristics of each local culture and creativity, and plan for the relevant cultural activities, all the activities to be self-marketing. With the community as a whole to create activities, the township established endemic style and visual imagery, and even to shape a unique brand image, such as local vision, humanistic qualities, landscape, industrial scale, are important elements in creating the image. The design must have a local image pattern recognition, and where the visual elements in the visual environment of physical entities and systematic, symbolic, highlight the local characteristics and is easy for people to remember. Therefore, this article hopes to Taiwan along with the image of the local culture and the local construction industry trend to explore the spirit of place where identity is from image research, via the integration of the survey comparison, analysis, and design principles to build convey elements of local identity, its theme images, forms, form, color, structure, and application to analyze the status and other aspects discussed in the relevant government or researchers provide a reference.
