As Kaohsiung Pictorial is the official publication of Kaohsiung City Government, it has a profound connection with the evolution of Kaohsiung. The cover expression is an important spirit of the current issue, which has representative meaning and research value. Hence, the research purposes for this study are:
1. To understand the historical background and development of Kaohsiung Pictorial.
