From industrial heritage regeneration to regional revitalization—a case study of Checheng Timber Industry Museum Park in Taiwan

In contrast to the ideal situation, in recent years, the many gradual established industrial and cultural exhibition facilities in Taiwan are mostly singly preserved sites. In addition, no strong implementation of industrial archeology and inventory works were implemented, as well as factors such as lack of motivation from the corporate bodies to save their industrial heritage sites caused preservation work considerably difficult (Wang, S.H. et al, 2012).
