ABSTRACT
Bone tumor was not as common as other types of tumors in the past. However, with better control of the primary tumor and prolonged survival of the patients, the incidence of bone metastases from the primary hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) has been increasing (Liaw et al., 1989). According to the statistics from American Academy of Neurological and Orthopaedic Surgeons, it always happens to children and youth, which tremendously devastates the entire life quality of patients (Xin Kang et al., 2012). Although, many methods including surgery, thermal therapy, drug treatment, and chemotherapy have been applied to treat various kinds of bone tumors (Rimondi, 2012, Busser, 2011, Andreas, 2011) in the clinic, it is still a challenge to find out the best therapy currently, which can not only alleviate the pain of the patients, but also achieve the ideal treatment eect.
