ABSTRACT
With the development of multimedia technology and network technology, digital image databases are growing at an alarming rate. Thus, a fast and accurate algorithm is needed to pinpoint the useful images from a large pool of mass image databases. From 1970s to present, image retrieval technology were developing from text-based algorithms to content-based algorithms.
