ABSTRACT
Peer-to-peer (P2P) systems have received much attention and become one of the most popular distributed applications in recent years. With the boosting of multimedia contents over the Internet, more and more researchers have focused their eorts on the using of P2P network to deliver video-on-demand (VoD) services, which is the so-called P2P-VoD system. A P2P-VoD system has many advantages, such as high scalability, low cost and robustness to churn.
