ABSTRACT

Stereo vision is a kind of technology using the image as information acquisition, transmission and analysis, which applies image processing, pattern recognition and artificial intelligence to reconstructing the 2D or 3D geometry characteristic information and obtain the outline of the analyte or its dynamic parameters. With the development of science and technology, modern visual measurement system is widely used. For example, Olson [1] had researched in binocular robots and made it successful in Martian probe. Gao Qingji[2], Harbin Institute of Technology, used heterogeneous binocular vision in autonomous soccer robot to realizing its navigation. It is monocular or binocular vision that has rapidly developed, but with the development of the research, the visual measurement system is towards on multi-vision. Kleiner Bernhard[3] succeeded in navigating by a mobile 3-D handheld scanner.
