ABSTRACT

Since 1980s, studies on software quality model have conducted worldwide, among which Boehm model, McCall model and ISO/IEC9126 model are the most famous [1]. However, these models are mostly quality-oriented, which are designed to analyze factors aecting software quality, but incapable of evaluating software process capability. Meantime, quality management evaluation systems such as CMM/CMMI and SPICE don’t present specific quality models. Today, software process evaluation mainly focuses on primary process of software development while weakening evaluation of organizational process and supporting processes. For example, SW-CMM and CMMI both have OPF (Organization Process Focus) process field, but in execution and evaluation, OPF may be diluted [2], which focuses on the primary process. Hence, software process quality management is important.
