ABSTRACT

Centrifugal pumps are widely used in the industry production. The traditional pump design is mainly based on the model conversion method and velocity coefficient method [1], for which the design period is long and the prototype validation step is complex. Today, due to the flexible demands of the market, the traditional design method cannot meet the factory design requirement. Because of the complex structures of the centrifugal pump, the Computer Aided Design (CAD) and the Finite Element Analysis methods can greatly improve the product design efficiency and the product reliability [2-3].
