ABSTRACT
Taking 3DP printer with a molding vat of 203*254*203mm as an example, it takes about 6 hours to produce a model with height of 100mm, and the molding process needs no human supervision. Compared with traditional model making, this new technology saves designers more time to conduct preliminary research and scheme scrutiny, thus shortening product development cycle to push new products into market to occupy opportunities.
