ABSTRACT
ARINC659 bus is both configurations composed of dual bus pairs (A and B), bus pairs consist of two buses named “x” and “y”. Each bus of the four buses (Ax, Ay, Bx, By) has its own clock line and two data lines, transmit two bits per circle, therefore complete bus consists of 12 lines.Every LRM has two bus interface units (BIUx and BIUy), BIUx sends message with x bus and BIUy with y, each BIU receives all 4 buses. Every bus is driven by the independent transceiver in the LRM that prevents a single failure adversely affects more than one bus. AR-INC659 bus is designed to have the ability to correct all one-bit mistake and detect all dual-bit mistake of the backplane bus.
